St. Joseph/St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Collaborative
The Churches of St. Joseph and St. Francis of Assisi in Medford, MA have joined together to form a Catholic Parish Collaborative with enhanced resources and wider range of opportunities. It is our hope that both parishes will become stronger as a result of our collaboration. St. Joseph St. Joseph Parish is a Eucharistic community united and nourished by God's love. In response to Christ's call through His Church, we seek to increase our sensitivity to God's healing presence in our lives and to reach out to others with compassion and justice. We strive in word and action to live the Gospel message by ministering to one another through prayer, friendship, celebration, and service. St. Francis of Assisi St. Francis of Assisi Parish is a Catholic Community acknowledging the workings of the Spirit in our midst as we reach out to all through Eucharist, Prayer, Education and Worship. Our call to faith is inspired by our namesake, St. Francis of Assisi, who challenges us to live and celebrate love and forgiveness, always mindful that service to God is service to others. We regard our Parish Community as Family. We seek to facilitate the development of a cooperative spirit and to assist each other in facing the joys and sorrows of everyday life. Committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, we join other faith communities in fulfilling the mission of the Church. |
