    Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick is not only for those who are at the point of death but for any of the faithful who begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age. Please inform us if you or a loved one is seriously ill so that a priest may pray over you and anoint you. Likewise, you are encouraged to receive the sacrament after Sunday Mass if you are having a serious procedure the following week.

Please call the Collaborative Parish Office to make arrangements, 781-396-0423.

A Mass of Anointing is held each Fall at both parishes.

To read more about this Sacrament, click here (Catechism of the Catholic Church on The Anointing of the Sick).
"Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint [him] with oil in the name
    of the Lord,
and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven"
    (James 5:14-15).
