The Council is also interested in the overall financial health of the parish and reviews the annual budget after it has been approved by the Pastor and periodically reviews the financial activity during the year.

The Liturgy Committee meets monthly from August through June to assist in the preparation of parish liturgies and to create a worthy and prayerful atmosphere in the church for Masses, consistent with an understanding of our Church’s rituals and traditions.  It is comprised of one of the priests, the music director, pastoral ministry manager and volunteers.  One member of the committee acts as the coordinator for art and environment.  Meetings last approximately an hour and follow an agenda prepared by the chairperson.

Members are asked to attend monthly meetings throughout the season, as well as to assist in preparing the church for special liturgies (Christmas, Easter, etc.),  and to assist in preparing for receptions following special liturgies/events.  Meetings are one afternoon per month (usually Friday) from 1-2pm. Schedule for special events is established as needed at meetings. Periodically members of the committee are given the opportunity to attend workshops and special liturgy training sessions which are offered in the area.
