Thank you to those who returned their commitment forms for the Grateful Discipleship Program!

This initiative asks us all to examine the ways we can work together to strengthen the Church in Medford, and beyond, by committing ourselves to the missionary work of evangelization – the work of bringing the Gospel of Christ to all people.  Please see below to learn more about this program and discern how God is calling you to give your gifts of time, talent and treasure.

    THE GRATEFUL DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM

    Picture

Jesus preached about being a good steward, and the Bible interprets stewardship as giving back to God the first fruits of our labors: Everything we have is a gift from God and we are asked to return a portion of those gifts in gratitude for all we have.

Maintaining a strong and vibrant Parish requires the commitment of its parishioners. During this initiative we should all examine how truly fortunate we are as members of God’s family.  In response and in gratitude we are asked to make commitments representing our ‘return’ to God.

Through the Grateful Discipleship Program, each parishioner is asked to make three prayerful commitments for the coming year:

    GIFT OF TIME

•How much TIME will I give to worshipping Jesus Christ and to celebrating the Sacraments?
    LEARN MORE

    GIFT OF TALENT

•How much of my TALENT will I commit to furthering the work of God’s Kingdom in my community and in the world?
    LEARN MORE

    GIFT OF TREASURE

•How much of my TREASURE will I give in proportion to my means?
    LEARN MORE

A three piece mailing describing this program has been mailed to all parishioners.  The mailing consists of a letter from Father Paul, a brochure describing the program and a Commitment Form.
